Biography  

 

Mr. Lychak’s practice is concentrated in the areas of business, corporate law, personal and accident injury cases, civil litigation, divorce/support, and real estate.

 

Mr. Lychak received his B.A. in political science from Boston University in 1982, and his J.D. from the New England School of Law, in 1987. Licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Massachusetts, Mr. Lychak is also admitted to appear before the United States Supreme Court, the United States Courts of Appeals for the First (1st) and Third (3rd) Circuits, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.  Mr. Lychak is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Lehigh County Bar Association.

 

From January 2007 to the present, Mr. Lychak has served as a Member of the Lower Saucon Township Plainning Commission. 

 

From 1998 to the present, Mr. Lychak has served as an Officer and on the Board of Directors for Family Answers Inc., formerly Family and Counseling Services of the Lehigh Valley, located in Allentown, Pennsylvania.  Family Answers Inc., is a non-profit organization which provides counseling and social services to individuals, couples, families and the elderly who are experiencing problems.

 

From 1999 to the present, Mr. Lychak has also served as a Board Member and Officer of Historic Bethlehem Inc., and Trustee of Historic Bethlehem Partnership, located in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.  The mission of both organizations is to support, promote and enhance the history and culture of Bethlehem through preservation, education and interpretation.

 

From 1995 to 2001, he served as a Committee Member on the Disciplinary Hearing Committee, of the Disciplinary Board of The Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.  He was Chairman of the Committee from 2000 to 2001.

 

From 1993 to the present, Mr. Lychak has served as an Arbitrator for cases filed in Lehigh County, hearing and deciding over a hundred cases during that time.

 

From 1996 to 1998, Mr. Lychak served as a member of the adjunct faculty at Northampton Community College, providing instruction in business law, entrepreneurial law, litigation practice and procedure, and small business law.

 

Mr. Lychak has received a “BV” rating under the Martindale-Hubbell attorney Peer Review Rating System.  This is a two-part rating system composed of a Legal Ability Rating and an Ethical Rating.  A “BV” rating represents a high to very high legal ability and a very high ethical rating.  It indicates an “exemplary reputation and well-established practice.  A typical lawyer [with this rating] is in mid-career with a significant client base and high professional standing”.
